The 2022 Bucs are loaded with talent at every skill position, making for some good options in fantasy football play. In both season-long formats and daily fantasy sports (DFS), Tampa Bay has a plethora of viable options that could produce points for your team. Each week, I’ll take a look at the best options to start and sit, as well as a few sleepers to roll with in both formats.

Here is the Bucs’ fantasy outlook for Sunday afternoon’s Week 3 matchup against the Packers in Tampa Bay:

Start ‘Em

RB Leonard Fournette

The Bucs are hurting at the wide receiver position right now and there has been a clear emphasis to establish the run. Those factors make Fournette and enticing player to start this week against the Packers. This is especially after they let up over 200 yards on the ground to the Bears just last week. I also think this is the week Fournette gets more involved in the passing game, giving him added value in PPR leagues and DFS. With the addition of inclement weather possible Start him in all formats with confidence.

Bucs DST

With the Bucs history against Aaron Rodgers of nine sacks and three interceptions over the last two contests, it makes them an exciting option in fantasy this week. Coming off a five turnover five sack performance against the Saints they are a value option to put up points in DFS, and are quickly cementing themselves as a top unit in season long formats.

Sit ‘Em

QB Tom Brady

Brady is down at least two of his top guys at wide receiver and Julio Jones is a game-time decision. Meanwhile the rest of his wide outs are also dealing with nagging injuries. Count in the fact that he hasn’t put up the best numbers against the Packers defense and has thrown three picks, he may not be the best option to start at quarterback this week.

WR Cole Beasley

I get the intrigue here with his production over the years and the production Brady has gotten out of similar slot receivers. However, Beasley just signed with the Bucs and while he may have enough of the game plan install to make a few catches I would not count on him having a huge impact in this game. Next week may be a different story but for Week 3, it’s best to keep Beasley n the bench.

Sleepers

WR Breshad Perriman

After scoring last week’s lone offensive touchdown, Perriman has some upside in this contest. He clearly has the trust of Bucs quarterback Tom Brady, and with a depleted receiver corps may be the best option in the passing game. Hovering right around $4,000 in most DFS formats he’s a good value grab. While more of a desperation play in season long play in a flex spot.

TE Cam Brate

Someone has got to catch the ball and with so many receivers out. Brate hasn’t been a major factor in the Bucs offense this season, but there are plenty of targets available for the veteran tight end. He’s more of a desperation streaming start in season long play but for under $4,000 he could be a nice sleeper candidate in DFS.
